Description

Meet Delta, the brown tabby. Delta arrived to the Shelter as a stray so we don’t know much about her life before the Shelter. A good Samaritan found Delta as a stray and brought her into the Shelter’s care to keep her safe. Delta has been around other felines when outside. A home with cat friends may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Although initially a bit reserved, Delta has warmed up to staff and volunteers. She leans in for pets and has been relaxing in her kennel – looking out at people that approach her kennel. Delta may be a fit for an adopter looking for an indoor-outdoor cat (after a 30 day acclimation period) or she may be just as happy being an indoor only kitty moving forward. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
