Apollo 7332

Description

Apollo is a gentle soul who has been through a lot. He is calm and can be submissive. He is slowly showing his personality as he gets more comfortable. He is house trained and plays with dog toys and not at all with human items so has had free reign in the foster's house. He chose not to go into a crate so sleeps in the same room with the two resident dogs. He eats well and is learning about treats - he is more affection motivated than treat motivated. He loves the fenced in yard and gets along with his canine sisters. He is good on leash when heading out for a walk, but once ready to head home he pulls strongly to return to the house as quickly as possible. His foster is working with him on this, but he may need some additional leash training. Otherwise his manners are excellent - he takes treats gently, doesn't try to eat others' food, doesn't beg and is pretty quiet - he is starting to talk some, but hasn't barked yet.  He is a sweet boy who would love a family who will treat him kindly and gently, maybe with another dog to help build his confidence. He would do best in a house with a yard as he feels safe in the house and yard. Apollo is not yet neutered but it will be scheduled once he has settled in.
