Pepper (A140611) is a 2-year-old DLH who weighed 11.69 pounds on intake! 8/25/26 Pepper, previously known as Cloud, has been surrendered back to the shelter due to not coexisting well with the other cat in the home. Pepper's previous owners had nothing but good things to say about him. He uses his litterbox consistently, was friendly with everyone in the home other than the other kitties. Please still ensure that you are performing those introductions to kids and other animals in a slow, safe, and controlled manner. Cloud was surrendered to the shelter after being dropped off with a few other kitties also looking for their new homes. We know that they lived together, but we do not know the extent of their friendship. We also do not know if they have any experience with dogs. Please ensure that you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new pets. Cloud has used his litterbox consistently at the shelter and has had a healthy appetite.
