Description

Hello I am Eleanor and I am a German rabbit breed known as a teddywidder. I have beautiful blue eyes and long fluffy fur. I was rescued from a breeder after my eye was badly injured and wasn't healing properly. Thankfully, our amazing partner vets took wonderful care of me, and now my beautiful blue eyes are shining bright! I am a very happy bunny, and I am always excited to see you when you walk in the room, especially if you have a treat. I have not found a treat I do not like. But if you sneak up on me, I may just be flopped over looking adorable! Even though I have floppy ears, sometimes when I am flopped out and relaxed one of my ears will stand straight up. My foster mom thinks it’s adorable! If you are hanging out on the couch or near me I may just hop over and ask for some head pets and nose scratches. They are my favorite. I have a lot of energy and when I am not spending my time free roaming, running and binkying around, I enjoy a puzzle toy. The puzzle toys enrich my brain when I can’t be exploring. I am a very curious rabbit, so I love to explore new places, even if I am not supposed to! You will have to keep an eye on me in new places to make sure I don’t get into trouble. I am a good girl though and don’t tend to chew on things I shouldn’t. I do love my nightly Oxbow Adult pellets, but I am not very picky on the time of night when I get them. I also can’t live without my salad and will vacuum it right up and hope you forgot you gave it to me and give me seconds. And of course, I love munching on tasty Timothy hay throughout the day. A girl has to keep her tummy happy! I am mostly litter box trained and most of my poops make it into the box, but some end up around the box. Since I do like to jump, that means my pen would have to be tall so I cannot get out when I am not supposed to. As you have noticed, I have some beautiful fluffy hair and unfortunately it does not take care of itself. My foster mom has to brush me very frequently to make sure I do not get knots. I also need to get haircuts often so I can see and I do not get too hot. I may have had a rough start, but I am a happy, curious, affectionate girl who is ready for my forever home. I can't wait to find someone who will love my fluffy self, give me all the head pets I ask for, and appreciate all of my adorable little quirks. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience.  All applications are reviewed   on a case-by-case basis.*  If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female (spayed) Exact birthdate: 2/13/26 Approximate weight: 4.08 lbs Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.        If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
