Meet Penguin! Penguin is a beautiful 6-year-old tuxedo girl who is ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for! With her adorable tuxedo-style coloring and sweet face, Penguin is one special girl. At six years old, Penguin is past the busy kitten stage and ready to enjoy all the comforts of a loving home. She’s hoping for a family who will give her the love, patience, and cozy place she deserves. Penguin is ready to start her next chapter and show her forever family just how wonderful she is.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
