Buddy (A143180) is a 6-month-old lab mix who weighed almost 50 pounds at intake!08/22/26 This incredibly sweet guy is Buddy! Buddy was brought to the shelter because he still needs help with training. Buddy is still a puppy, so he is looking for a patient home that can help him master potty training and basic obedience. He is a very loving and affectionate dog once he is comfortable. He is quite timid at first around strangers. He was said to do well with babies and children, but we do not know how he feels about other animals. Please make sure any and all introductions are done in a safe and controlled manner to allow for the best possible outcome. Buddy has been known to chew and scratch. He can also be vocal and will get into the trash if the opportunity presents itself. He was described as friendly, affectionate, and shy. He can be rough when playing and has been known to jump on people. Please keep this in mind if you have small children in the home.
