Meet This Sweet GirlAt 7 years old, this beautiful girl has already been through more than any dog should have to endure. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, severely underweight and suffering from significant skin issues. She needed time, care, and plenty of TLC before she was healthy enough to become available for adoption.And now, look at her.Despite everything she has been through, she has remained one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. She absolutely loves getting scratches, enjoys playing with toys, and is happiest when she is around people. She walks well on a leash and appears to be housebroken, which tells us that at some point in her life, she was someone's dog.It is heartbreaking to think about how this sweet girl ended up on her own. But what makes us happy is knowing that she is safe now, she has been cared for, and she finally has a chance to find the loving home she deserves.Because she came to us as a stray, we are still learning about her and do not yet know how she feels about other dogs, cats, or children. If you have another dog, a dog-to-dog meet and greet will be required before adoption.She is not yet spayed, so she cannot go home the same day as adoption. She will need to be spayed at the shelter before heading home with her new family.This sweet girl has spent enough time waiting. Now she deserves a life filled with love, comfort, scratches, toys, and a family who will never let her wonder again if she is wanted.Please come meet her during our open adoption hours.
