Description

Minnow is a beautiful grey kitten with soft white paws and an especially plush coat. She was the largest of her litter of three, and she has the sweet, thoughtful personality to match. She is affectionate when approached and enjoys being picked up and carried around, although she can be a little reserved when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar places. Minnow has two very rowdy brothers, so she has become something of an expert observer. She will sometimes settle down and watch them go completely wild over the wand toy, quietly waiting for her turn. Every now and then, she'll give you a look that seems to say, “Would you please throw that for me?” without any intention of getting up to retrieve it because, naturally, she is a lady. But when she decides the time is right, Minnow can abandon her dignified act in an instant and attack the toy with just as much enthusiasm as her brothers! She has a medium energy level and enjoys playing, climbing, and interacting with her people and feline friends. Wand toys, bell towers, and bell balls are favorites. She is gentle, smart, and well-mannered, and after she's had enough excitement, she is happy to relax and nap on the bed with her siblings. Minnow is a fairly quiet kitten who doesn't have much to say, but she has a lovely purr that appears when she's feeling happy and comfortable. She goes easily into her carrier, permits nail clipping, and uses scratching pads and posts appropriately. Her litterbox habits are excellent, and she is comfortable sharing a litterbox with other cats or kittens. Minnow has had positive experiences with kittens and dogs. She loves her canine friend and isn't afraid to follow him around, which is especially adorable for a kitten who can be cautious in other new situations. When strangers arrive, she may hide for a few minutes, but she quickly gains confidence when she sees that her siblings are comfortable and comes out to investigate. She would do well with considerate, gentle children and would enjoy having another cat or kitten or a friendly dog in her forever home. She can also do fine as a singleton. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle kitten with a playful side and just the right amount of sass, Minnow may be your perfect match. She might spend a little time watching the action from the sidelines, but don't be fooled. When she decides it's time to play, this little lady can bring just as much enthusiasm as anyone!
