Bass is a beautiful grey tabby and white kitten with a distinctive look. When he first arrived at just five weeks old, he was the smallest of his litter and looked a little like a tiny drowned rat. But Bass was determined to grow into the wonderful kitten he is today. He fought hard to gain weight, and all that perseverance has paid off! Sweet and affectionate, Bass loves being close to his people. He enjoys being picked up and carried around, happily accepts affection, and has an especially adorable habit of sitting on your shoulder. He may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but once he gets comfortable, his gentle and loving personality shines through. He is confident in new places, goes easily into his carrier, and is always ready to be part of the action. Bass is also a playful kitten with plenty of energy. He loves wand toys, ball towers, climbing, and playing with his siblings. He is smart, interactive, and well-mannered, and he wants to play most of the time. When playtime is over, he is happy to curl up and relax, especially on the bed with his siblings. Bass has a sweet little voice and isn't afraid to use it when he's ready to play. He'll let you know with a meow, then happily settle in for some fun. He is also a wonderful purrer, so affection often comes with a soothing soundtrack. Bass permits nail clipping and uses scratching pads and posts appropriately. His litterbox habits are excellent, and he is comfortable sharing a litterbox with other cats and kittens. Bass has had positive experiences with kittens and dogs and absolutely loves his canine friend. He would enjoy having another cat or kitten in his forever home, as well as a dog friend. He should also do well with children of all ages.
