Description
Trout is a handsome solid-black cat with one charming surprise: a little white patch on his tummy! But his looks are only the beginning, because this kitten has a personality that is impossible to miss. Even at just five weeks old, Trout knew exactly what he wanted: to be held close and snuggled. Today, he is still the first one to greet you when you walk into a room, ready to say hello and soak up some affection. Give him some love and you’ll be rewarded with his wonderfully loud purr! Confident and outgoing, Trout is comfortable in new places and eager to meet both people and animals. He is a gentle, well-mannered boy who loves being picked up and carried around. He has happily interacted with adult men and women, young children, strangers, kittens, and dogs. He is especially fond of his eight-year-old canine friend, affectionately nicknamed “The Nanny” because of his love for kittens. Trout enjoys interacting with his gentle dog buddy and would be delighted to have a dog friend in his forever home. He would also enjoy having another feline companion, although he is perfectly capable of being the only cat in the household. Trout is a kitten through and through, which means playtime is his favorite time! He is very energetic, smart, interactive, and absolutely full of personality. Wand toys, ball towers, bell balls, and wrestling with his siblings are all favorites. He loves to climb and is happiest when he has opportunities to explore, play, and get into kitten adventures. When he finally runs out of steam, he is happy to settle down for a nap, especially on the bed with his siblings. For such a busy little guy, Trout is surprisingly quiet. He rarely meows, preferring to communicate through his actions, his affectionate greetings, and that big, happy purr. He goes easily into his carrier, permits nail clipping, and uses scratching pads and posts appropriately. His litterbox habits are excellent, and he has no trouble sharing a box with other cats or kittens. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate, playful kitten who will greet you at the door, purr loudly when you love on him, and keep life entertaining with his kitten antics, Trout could be your perfect match. He is a little black cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
