Description
Meet Butter — The Breakfast Club’s Big Goofy Boy! Butter and his three sisters—Bagel, Brioche, and Bacon—have been through more than any kitten should. They arrived at the shelter incredibly young, scared, dirty, starving, and very sick with an upper respiratory infection. Their little eyes were so goopy they could barely see, and they were struggling to breathe. Because they were so young and sick in an already overcrowded shelter, they were placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a volunteer stepped up to foster them, and we were able to get these babies out just a couple of hours before they were scheduled to be euthanized. And look at them now! After receiving the love, care, and time they desperately needed, all four have blossomed into happy, healthy, playful kittens with HUGE personalities. And Butter? Well… Butter is a whole lot of kitten. This big, beautiful, orange boy is the goofiest, rowdiest, most outgoing member of the Breakfast Club. He has classic orange-boy energy: absolutely no thoughts, just vibes, toys, treats, and fun. He is a big goofy oaf with total golden retriever energy. He runs right up to new people to say hello and usually starts purring the second someone picks him up.Butter loves everything. Give him a toy and he will find a way to have fun with it, but his absolute favorite is the little sparkly puff balls. A pop-up playpen and a bag of puff balls can keep this boy entertained for hours—and provide his humans with endless laughs. He is also a champion wrestler and can frequently be found locked in a “mortal combat” match with his tiny sister Bacon. Their size difference makes it even funnier: the biggest kitten in the litter versus the smallest, rolling around and tackling each other like they’re training for the Olympics. And after all that chaos? Butter becomes the sweetest cuddlebug. He’ll happily curl up in your lap or sprawl across your chest, purring away with his enormous motorboat purr. Butter has met lots of people, resident cats, and even a small dog in his foster home, and he has been curious and good-natured with everyone. He would likely do well with gentle, respectful children who understand that he is still a young, small, slightly ridiculous kitten who may occasionally jump or nip at fingers when he gets excited. As he grows, his manners will catch up with his enormous personality!Butter is still too young to be adopted as an only cat and needs a home with another young, playful kitty friend. He would LOVE to go home with one of his Breakfast Club siblings, especially his wrestling partner Bacon! His foster mom is going to miss this sweet, silly boy terribly. Butter is the kind of kitten who makes a house happier just by being in it.
