Description
Meow meet Phoebe! Phoebe is a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell girl with a gentle spirit and a quiet sweetness that will steal your heart. She can be a little timid at first, but once settled in, she is a true love bug. She enjoys gentle pets, loves being held, and has a calm, almost old-soul quality about her. She’s the kind of kitten who doesn’t need to be the center of attention - she’s perfectly content being close to the people she trusts. And Phoebe does have one very important opinion: Sheba wet kitten food is the best! She knows what she likes. We aren’t sure what happened in Phoebes short life, what we do know is that she was found in a cat colony clearly injured and needing help. Phoebe has limited mobility due to old fractures in her leg untreated and her bones fused together incorrectly. Because of this, she needs a home that can provide a little extra care and keep her safe. Jumping isn’t an option for Phoebes, and stairs may be difficult for her, so her environment will need to be arranged with her abilities in mind. Her family will also need to be mindful of her and take care not to accidentally bump into her when walking. Phoebe would do best with older, respectful children. If there are other cats in the home, they would need to be gentle and calm - she needs feline friends who won’t roughhouse with her or risk causing further injury. She may need a little more consideration than the average kitten, but in return, she offers something pretty special - a quiet, loving little soul who simply wants to feel safe, wanted, and loved by her family!
