Brenda Female 32lbs 1-2 YO Brenda's story could have ended very differently. She was found wandering along a busy four-lane highway with her friend, Becky, both trying to survive on their own. Around her neck was a heavy chain that was much too large for her small 32-pound frame—a heartbreaking reminder that life hasn't always been kind to her. But despite her rough start, Brenda hasn't let it change her sweet spirit. This precious 1-2-year-old girl, with her adorable brown spot around one eye, is friendly with our volunteers, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. Brenda deserves so much more than the life she's known. She deserves a family who will keep her safe, love her unconditionally, and show her what it means to be part of a family.
