Meet Tippy! Tippy is a 1-year-old boy who came to us after being hit by a car, with nowhere else to go. Our dedicated staff immediately stepped in to get him the care he needed.Tippy suffered some pretty severe injuries from his accident, and unfortunately, none of them were injuries that could be surgically repaired. Our vets decided that cage rest and medication would give him the best chance at healing.And Tippy has shown us just how incredibly resilient cats can be! When he first arrived, his tail would drag behind him. With rest, pain medication, and plenty of time, he slowly began getting stronger. His tail started to perk back up, and today, it looks like a completely normal cat tail!We were told Tippy may never be able to climb onto a cat tree, but this boy clearly didn’t get the memo. Every day, he shows his foster family just how fearless, strong, and determined he is. Tippy is extremely friendly with humans and is a very vocal boy who loves to let you know exactly what he’s thinking! He also loves other playful cats and would be thrilled to have a feline friend who can keep up with him. And dogs? He loves them, too! Tippy is truly a social butterfly who enjoys making friends wherever he goes. Tippy will need Cosequin for life as an over-the-counter joint supplement, but other than that, this sweet boy is ready to show his forever family exactly why we rescued him.Tippy is currently enjoying life in a foster home and will return to the shelter on 9/20 after his neuter.
