Available for Adoption! Meet Minerva!Minerva’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. She came to us from a hoarding situation, understandably fearful after spending her young life outdoors. But with patience, love, and a safe environment, Minerva quickly discovered how wonderful life indoors could be—and she has blossomed into the sweetest, most loving girl. Today, Minerva is a happy, friendly, affectionate social butterfly. In fact, she has become our very own goodwill ambassador, helping new rescued dogs overcome their fears and feel safe and comfortable. She is playful, gentle, kind, and always ready to give kisses. Outside, Minerva loves playing with her canine friends, big and small, showing off her zoomies and enjoying time to explore. Once indoors, she settles beautifully and is content to lounge, chew her favorite bones, entertain herself, or curl up beside her people. Minerva absolutely loves belly rubs, neck massages, cuddles, and being close to her family. She is easygoing, well-tempered, obedient, and eager to please. She is treat-motivated, loves praise, and is excited to learn new things. Minerva is crate trained and doing very well with potty training, needing just a little more time to become fully reliable. She would also benefit from continued leash training. She is good with children and gets along well with other dogs. We have not yet tested her with cats, but we believe she may do well with a proper, slow introduction. After everything Minerva has been through, she has learned to trust, love, and enjoy life. Now she is ready for the very best part of her journey—a forever family who will continue to show her just how wonderful life can be. She has had a vet visit, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food.
