He is a low energy guy who would be perfectly happy with a couple of walks each day followed by plenty of lounging around with his people. He is looking for a relaxed, patient home ready to help him learn the ropes of home life and love him every step of the way.Floyd has been around several dogs at the shelter and approaches new friends with a calm, easy confidence. He would do great with or without a canine sibling. He has not been around cats but his easygoing nature suggests he would likely do fine with proper introductions. His friendly, relaxed personality would likely do wonderfully with kids looking for a four-legged buddy to hang out with.Floyd is a smart boy who has been living in a shelter environment and will benefit from patience and consistency as he adjusts to home life. With structure and guidance he is likely to pick up household manners quickly. As he settles in, crate and house training will be areas to work on together, and he will continue to improve with a solid routine.This friendly, easygoing boy just wants a comfortable spot to relax and some good people to share it with.
