  Meet Zora a beautiful full-blooded Blue Heeler, approximately 1 year old and 45 pounds. She is a sweet, devoted girl who is looking for a very special person or family to give her the loving forever home she deserves. Zora is housebroken, good with other dogs, good with children, and accustomed to walking on a leash. Most of all, Zora loves being with her person. Whether you are inside relaxing or outside enjoying the day, you can count on Zora being right by your side—she will happily be your faithful shadow.  She especially loves going for walks and seeing all the places that a walk can take her to.  She would be an exceptional dog for horseback riding excursions, hikes and adventures on trails that are easy or difficult. She has the stamina.  Zora’s story is a heartbreaking one. Her owner was a wonderful lady who absolutely adored her, and Zora adored her just as much. Sadly, her owner passed away suddenly and unexpectedly and Zora lost her best friend. She lost not only her home, but the person who raised her from a puppy was her whole world.  Zora came from an exceptional bloodline/ breeder as a puppy. We are now hoping to find someone who can give Zora the love, companionship, and security she once knew. She would thrive with someone who has plenty of time to spend with her and wants a dog to truly be part of their everyday life. Zora would love daily walks, a safe place to run and play, boating, traveling, and new adventures. She was accustomed to traveling with her owner and, most importantly, being with her every day. Zora has already experienced a tremendous loss at such a young age. What she needs now is someone who will open their heart and make her part of the family again.
