BITTY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Bitty          Best Guess for Breed:   Poodle Mix    Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of June 2026          SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   12 lbs as of August 2026   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! Bitty has met cats and ignored them but has not lived with them. She would prefer a home without young children as she can get overwhelmed.    Currently Living at:   DC area foster home!    Bitty is Looking For: A forever family! Bitty landed in the shelter through no fault of her own, and she is now looking for a place she can finish growing up. Since she is a growing girl, she will need plenty of walks, and time around doggy friends so she can learn to be a good canine citizen. She will also need near daily brushing at home as well as regular professional grooming appointments to keep her coat looking and feeling great. She would love plenty of toys and treats as well as a nice couch to snuggle up on and watch the latest episodes of all of your favorite shows (just make sure to catch her up first!) What do you say, do you have room for a fluffy buddy to join your family? What My Foster Says About Me:    Bitty is an absolute sweetheart! She does well with other dogs and has even met a few cats! She’s not shy but she likes her boundaries respected so would rather live with adults or older kids. She loves to play in the yard and go on walks and she does well in the crate.     Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
