Meet Bailey! Bailey is a sweet, gentle 2-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing about 35–40 pounds. She is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her a little time to settle in and show them just how special she is. Bailey is house-trained and kennel-trained and has wonderful manners in the home. She is an incredibly quiet girl who rarely, if ever, barks. She loves chewing on her bones, but she has done a great job knowing the difference between her toys and things that belong to her humans! She is good with other dogs and enjoys her daily walks. With people, Bailey can be a little shy at first and likes to take her time getting comfortable. Once she realizes she is safe, her sweet personality begins to come through. Bailey's biggest challenge is that loud or unexpected noises can make her nervous, so she would thrive in a calmer home where she can continue building her confidence.  Older, considerate children who understand that she may need a little space and patience could be a great match. Bailey is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and recently received a clean bill of health from her veterinarian. She doesn't need a family looking for a wild, high-energy dog. Bailey is looking for someone who appreciates a quieter companion, will give her the time she needs to trust, and will continue showing her that the world isn't such a scary place. In return, they are going to get a very sweet girl who has so much love to give.
