Description
Mirena is a 34-pound sweetheart with the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and loyal companionship. She may look serious at first, but the moment you say her name, she transforms into a full-body wiggle butt with a constantly wagging tail and a smile that lights up the room. This happy-go-lucky girl loves being part of the family and wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. Whether she's lounging outside nearby, joining you in the yard, going for a walk, or simply following you from room to room, Mirena is happiest when she's with her people.Mirena absolutely adores other dogs and plays beautifully with them. She does a great job reading social cues, adjusting her play style, and respecting boundaries. She would love a canine companion or regular opportunities to spend time with dog friends. She's also done well around cats and has shown appropriate curiosity without being pushy. She is doing wonderfully with house training, sleeps through the night in her crate, and continues to improve on leash every day. Like many friendly puppies, she gets excited when she sees people or dogs and is eager to say hello.Mirena has been gentle with young children and has a sweet, affectionate personality. She enjoys walks, playtime, yard adventures, and then happily settles down to relax with her family. Her ideal home is one that will include her in everyday life, continue her training, and give her plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and love. In return, you'll get an incredibly social, loving companion who greets every day—and every person she loves—with pure joy.If you're looking for a dog who is equal parts fun, affectionate, and devoted, Mirena may be your perfect match. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ: • If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this. • All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date. • Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.
