Charlotte is an 8-year-old ginger girl who loves deep slumbers, rubbing her cheeks against her foster humans, and Mr. Mouse (her mouse toy attached to a bit of twine). Basically - she’s a simple gal who loves simple things!If Charlotte had to choose between a 6 AM wake up and a 10 PM snuggle on the couch, she would choose the late-night hang every time. This lady of leisure prefers to sleep in until she hears her foster mom logging onto a work meeting; then it’s time to get to work strutting her stuff on the desk, so her coworkers can see how gorgeous she is! After she’s attended to her meetings, she likes to get her second sleep in before the sun sets, so that she's charged and ready for evening couch time. Once the sun goes down, it’s time to join her foster humans on the couch, where she has to make sure that she’s touching at least one of them while she sleeps some more.Charlotte is a low-energy cat who plays well by herself, but is happy to bat Mr. Mouse around if you dangle it in front of her. Mostly, though, she likes to smack him around and carry him in her mouth while shouting at her foster humans to look at the amazing find she has! If you have a blanket on your lap, she’ll get to work at the biscuit factory for a short shift before purring away in your lap. This pretty girl is an absolute love bug once you take the time to build trust and a safe, caring relationship. She will ask for scratches and purrs up a storm when she’s near her foster humans. New people can be scary, though, so Charlotte would prefer a calm household that doesn’t have too many people coming and going. Someone who works from home or is around a lot would be perfect for this lovely girl. Charlotte is very particular about her roommates and would prefer to live in a home without other cats, dogs, and likely without children. She is easily startled, both by sudden movement and loud sounds, and she does give the occasional love nibble. She’s never swatted, hissed or broken skin, but children likely wouldn’t be a match for how she lives her life.If you’re looking for an affectionate cat who’s easy to care for and loves a low energy lifestyle, Charlotte just might be your match!There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
