Spittlebug (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 8/23/2026:  Spittlebug - female - approx 4 years old - 9.2 pounds - Yorkie mix Reason for intake:  We were contacted about three dogs in need at animal control.  All of them in terrible shape.  Stinkbug and Spittlebug are heavily matted, with overgrown nails.  Spittlebug may be the mother of Stinkbug and she also may be pregnant again.  She's definitely had puppies in the past.  Stinkbug doesn't appear to have ever had puppies.  We've scheduled a groom for them and they will also both be heading to the vet the week of 8/24/2026.  Both are very sweet.  We're not sure why the three ended up at animal control and honestly, we don't even care.  We're just glad that we are able to help all three.  Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
