He's affectionate without being shy about it and has perfected the soulful-eyed "hug me" look. Addie is happiest when he has someone to share his day with and would love a family looking for a true companion.He's smart, too! Addie picks up new commands quickly and thrives with consistency and positive reinforcement. He's housebroken, knows sit, stay, and break at thresholds, and has learned how to settle nicely on his dog bed with a treat or favorite toy.Addie would do well with adults or older children and would love a canine playmate around his size. He's even shown that he can be sweet and social with cats, including the occasional nose boop and face rub.Addie does have megaesophagus, which means mealtime looks a little different for him. He eats a modified diet while sitting upright in his Bailey chair and takes medication to help his food get safely to his stomach. Once you learn his routine, it simply becomes part of caring for Addie, and his foster can help show his future family exactly what he needs.More than anything, Addie wants what every Velcro dog dreams about: his people.
