Zelda (A139656) is a 5-year-old kitty who weighed over 13 lbs at intake!08/22/26 Athena and Zelda are back at the shelter after their most recent owners discovered they don't really like small children. They are a bonded pair looking for a home where they can be the only pets and without children. While these girls were previously said to do well with a dog in the home, they were quite agitated by the dog in their most recent home. Athena and Zelda are both super chunky ladies and are need of a diet! They were said to gorge themselves when free fed, so it will be important to keep their portion sizes small and scheduled. These girls love people and each other, and they are quite cuddly! You probably didn't realize you needed two chunky kitty cats for your world to revolve around, but here they are! These girls were brought to the shelter because they were not getting along with the other cat in the home. They were said to do well around dogs and a rabbit, but it would be best that they be the only kitties in their next home. Athena and Zelda were described as outgoing, friendly and affectionate cats. They were said to be litter box trained and to occasionally jump on counters. Zelda can be more shy than her mom Athena, but they are both very sweet and affectionate girls.
