Description

Birthdate:  8/11/23Breed: One of a kindTagged with the name UMBERTO you can rest assured our handsome new friend is a soulful, deep thinker.  It's no accident that kings, poets and philosophers shared the name meaning bright or even famous.  But our boy from the boogie-down Bronx comes without ego and cares only about trusting and befriending us.  Tentative only momentarily, when you get your first confirmation of friendship "head-boop", you know right away it's the beginning of something very special.  It won't take long before he's curling into your arms, peering at you from behind stunning green eyes filled with hope.  An elegant cat, his black and grey tabby coat is beautiful against white bib and boots, and it all feels like silk under your hands.  It seems obvious to us that he finds real comfort in our companionship, as if this has been his quest all along.  If the love of a devoted cat is what you've been searching for - don't think too deeply - just come meet Umberto.     The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
