Description
Sora is a sweet boy who is looking for a fresh start. He's currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Foster-to Adopt is available to ensure we have the perfect match. Meet Sora — the long-legged, big-hearted boy who is ready to trade his Louisiana shelter past for a loving home of his own. Sora and his sister, Sabrina, were both on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Louisiana before they were saved by one of our incredible rescue partners. Now, this sweet pair is getting the chance they always deserved: safety, patience, and a future. Sora is the more confident and outgoing sibling. He is curious, smart, affectionate, and always ready to see what fun might be around the corner. While home life is still new to him, he is catching on quickly and showing everyone just how bright he is. This handsome boy is: • Completely toy-obsessed—stuffies and chew bones are his favorites • Very food- and treat-motivated, which makes training extra fun • Smart, eager to learn, and responsive to gentle guidance • Active, playful, and built for joyful gallops around the yard • Loyal by nature, with those long legs and a heart that seems just as big Sora can get a little bouncy when he is excited, especially with smaller adults, but he is learning how to play more gently and accept correction. He is still figuring out the rules of being a beloved family dog, so he will thrive with people who can offer patience, structure, kindness, and plenty of positive reinforcement. We do not know what Sora’s mom or dad looked like, but we do know this: he is special. He is the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his goofy enthusiasm, proudly carry around his favorite toy, and grow into the most devoted companion. Sora would love a home with room to explore, a yard where he can stretch those long legs, and a family ready to help him become everything he is meant to be. Could you be Sora’s fresh start? Sora is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on his puppy vaccines. His adoption donation is $6 00. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
