Bolt — A Sweet Senior Looking for His Forever HomeMeet Bolt! This handsome 14-year-old, 16.5-pound Miniature Pinscher has so much love left to give. At his age, he’s less interested in adventure and more interested in being right beside his person—preferably snuggled as close as possible. Bolt is potty trained, low-energy, and has been doing well after his recent vet checkups. He may be mostly deaf, but he can still hear the ice machine—and he’ll come running for a cold little treat every time! He has been wonderful with his foster dog siblings and is incredibly sweet with everyone he meets. Bolt loves people and will happily walk right up to a stranger to ask for pets.After being bounced around, Bolt is working through some separation anxiety. He’ll need a patient, understanding home that can give him time to feel safe and learn that he’s finally home for good. He’s already made wonderful progress with his foster family.Bolt is looking for a relaxed home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love, soft beds, plenty of snuggles, and a person who will never give up on him again.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving senior companion, Bolt may be your guy. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
