Calypso “Cal” Meet Cal — a sweet orange tabby with the gentlest soul and, somehow, the patience of a saint. Cal has been returned twice, alongside his sister, and not because of anything either of them did wrong. His first adoption ended after a major health scare made it clear that his adopter simply wasn’t able to provide the care they needed. His second adopter promised it would be forever — but apparently a new job and a new boyfriend were enough to change those plans. And once again, Cal and his sister were the ones left packing their bags. They deserve so much better. They deserve a home where they are cherished, celebrated, and loved for the incredible cats they are — not treated as disposable when life changes. Cal is an absolute sweetheart. He’s affectionate, intelligent, gentle, and wonderfully even-tempered. And despite being an orange boy, he manages to keep his orange-boy antics to a minimum. He’s easygoing, social, and just an all-around fantastic guy. This little lad came from a LARGE brood, born to an amazing mama named Meadow, who did an incredible job raising her babies to be the very best kittens around. Cal loves to play with everyone and is happiest when he gets to be part of the action. He’s the kind of cat who makes life better simply by being in it. After everything he’s been through, Cal is still sweet. Still trusting. Still ready to love.
