Description

Meet Nigel— The calmest Mini Schnauzer you will ever meet!  A calm and gentle little guy who is discovering just how good it feels to be loved.Nigel is the best little 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer mix who weighs just 13 pounds and until recently, his world was very small — he spent his life living outdoors in an 8x10 pen with other Schnauzer dogs....about 30. Now that he’s in a foster home, he’s getting his first real taste of family life, and he seems pretty convinced that this is exactly where he belongs. Nigel has a little bit of cat in him when you see how often her perches on the back of the couch cushions to view the goings on in the house with all the other dogs.  He loves them and loves his foster parents too!  A nice cuddle sessions makes him so happy and connected to his people and he is a little bit of a shadow boy as he loves to follow close behind his foster mom from room to room.  A lap or two in the new family would make him the happiest Mini Schnauzer on the planet! Let's just say that he wants to make up for some lost time in the starter years of his life. He’s a quiet, gentle, and curious little fellow who enjoys exploring his new surroundings and taking in everything going on around him.   Recently neutered this boy Nigel is going to settle in on housebreaking and he is certainly OK in a crate. He was recently groomed and a new start has begun with a shave down from the overgrown fur.  Now he has a soft and beautiful coat. Discovering toys and how fun life can be is certainly what lies ahead for Nigel.  We are praying for a life of luxury as he starts living inside a home appears to be new for Nigel, he is still learning some of the basics. He is not fully housebroken yet, but he is making progress with a consistent routine, crate training, and belly bands. He sleeps in his crate at night and stays there when his foster family leaves the house.   If you are interested, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
