Abbott is a young Malinois mix, around 1 year old and about 40 lbs, with a gentle soul and so much potential. He's spent much of his life in a shelter environment with his brother, so the world outside is still a bit new to him—but he's taking it all in stride. Abbott can be a little reserved when meeting new people and situations, but underneath that initial shyness is a very sweet, thoughtful boy. Once he starts to feel safe, his soft and affectionate side really begins to show. He can be a bit picky about his dog friends, but with slow, proper introductions he's able to make new ones successfully.
