DJ is a shy little guy who is learning all about this thing called “dog life”! At first, he prefers to keep his distance while he figures out which human and pup friends he can trust, but he’s making wonderful progress every day.DJ previously lived with two other dogs and is slowly discovering that the world isn’t quite so scary. He’s becoming more comfortable exploring the great outdoors and is working on making the transition from pee pads to pottying outside. He does great in his crate and is looking for a patient, loving person who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to continue blossoming.At just 1.5 years old, this 5-pound Chihuahua mix has so much potential. He may need a little extra patience at first, but watching him gain confidence and discover his happy, playful side will be incredibly rewarding.He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 8/25/26.
