Meet Toby, an 11 pound little heart-stealer with puppy dog eyes, a sweet personality, and some seriously high standards when it comes to treats. Toby is the somehow both the perfect adventure and cuddle buddy He’s happiest curled up next to you on the couch while you work or watch TV, but the second it’s time for a walk, he’s ready to go! He loves sniffing his way around the neighborhood, meeting new people, and saying hello to other dogs along the way. He’s only been in foster for a few days, so we’re still watching more of his personality come out, but he’s already showing us what a friendly, adaptable little guy he is. When the house is quiet, Toby is happy to chill. When friends come over, his playful side comes out and he’s ready for pets, attention, and fun. Toby has been doing great with potty training and has had no accidents since his first day in foster. He’s also learning that his crate is a safe place to sleep and relax. He may whine for a bit at bedtime or when left alone, but he settles and is making progress every day. On walks, Toby is easy to handle and loves exploring. Loud noises can occasionally startle him, and birds definitely catch his attention, but he recovers quickly and keeps moving. He has been friendly meeting dogs outside. He likes to eat alone in his crate undisturbed. His adopter should be comfortable respecting that boundary and continuing to work with him on positive, appropriate mealtime routines. For a little guy who has only just started settling in, Toby is already proving himself to be a sweet, affectionate companion!  Toby is 1 Years Old,  healthy and neautured!
