DOB:      1/19/2019 Current Weight:    JD  is a total sweetheart with that irresistible “scruffy dog” charm we all adore,  a gentle, laid-back soul who’s friendly, affectionate, and always ready to curl up beside you on the couch.    JD  has a moderate energy level—he’ll happily play with a toy now and then, but his true passion is people. Pets are his love language, and he’ll sweetly paw at you to ask for more, then follow you from room to room just to stay close. He’s doing great in his foster home with other dogs and is crate trained. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, he’s had a couple of minor accidents, but he’s settling in well.  JD  walks nicely on a leash and does great on car rides, making him an easy companion for everyday adventures or relaxed outings.   This little cutie warms up quickly to new people and would thrive in a home looking for a loyal, affectionate buddy who enjoys attention and companionship. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at   https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1     $200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed, age,  and size categorizations are estimates.    If transporting out of state to available locations, the total adoption cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes.
