Meet Annie! Annie is an amazing 1.5 to 2 year old Doberman mix with the sweetest personality. She's gentle, playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves being with her people. Annie previously lived with four young children (ages 1-6) and adores little ones. She is wonderful with people and gets along well with other dogs. She can be a little shy around very energetic dogs at first, but warms up quickly and loves having dog friends. She would likely do well in a home with another friendly dog!Annie is an excellent walking and running buddy and loves any opportunity to be outside, especially if water is involved! She makes a great adventure companion for hikes, walks, runs, and exploring. She enjoys treats, is highly food-motivated, and is eager to learn, making her easy to train. She already knows basic commands and is a very well-mannered girl.While Annie can be left alone, she'd much rather be spending time with her humans. She's also been a wonderful work-from-home companion and is happy to snooze nearby while her foster mom works. After a day of fun, she's happy to curl up on the couch for snuggles. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to give gentle kisses!Her previous family shared that she does not do well with cats. Annie has shown no significant prey drive around birds, ducks, squirrels, or small dogs while in foster care.Annie is curious, joyful, and deeply loving. She has a gentle soul, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. Whether she's splashing in the water, joining you for a run, snoozing at your feet during the workday, or cuddling up on the couch, she's happiest when she's part of the family.Annie truly is an amazing girl: sweet, smart, adventurous, family-friendly, and full of love. She's ready to find a forever home that will cherish her as much as she deserves!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
