Birthday: June 1, 2026   Meet —whose name means "golden" in Spanish, perfectly fitting for this gorgeous, medium-haired buff boy who has officially reached big boy status and is ready for his forever home!    Dorado’s story started out terrifyingly close to disaster. At just five weeks old, he was found in the middle of the road on a dark, rainy night and was nearly struck by a vehicle. Luckily, a kind-hearted Samaritan stopped, scooped him up, and brought him into our rescue network for urgent care. He arrived malnourished, underweight, covered in fleas and 29 ticks, an eye infection from a URI, and a stubbornly long round of G.I. issues.    Despite everything he overcame, this resilient little guy has blossomed into the most handsome, fluffy ball of energy! While Dorado can be a little timid around new people and unfamiliar environments at first, all it takes is a little patience and love for him to warm up and let his true, affectionate personality shine.    He adores his foster kitty friends and would thrive best in a home with another playful cat to romp around with. Once he's burned off that energy, he loves nothing more than seeking out his human for a cozy cuddle session as he purrs himself to sleep.    Are you ready to welcome this golden boy into your heart and home?
