Hello, I’m Marmalade! I’m a sweet, gentle boy who may be a little shy when we first meet, but once I know I’m safe, I have so much love to give. My foster mom calls me “a polite gentleman,” and I think that’s a pretty good description of me. I absolutely adore human affection. I even enjoy being picked up and held—and if you’re lucky, I might settle onto your shoulder and make biscuits while you hold me. ❤️ I’m looking for a quieter home where I can take my time getting comfortable. Young children would be too much for me, but I could possibly do well with older, respectful children who are calm and not too noisy or rambunctious. I’m also doing well with the cats in my foster home, especially the easygoing ones who are friendly with other cats. Because I’m a nervous guy, I’d probably be happiest without dogs, although a small, calm dog might be a possibility. I may need a little patience at first, but underneath my shyness is a wonderfully affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.
