Walter personality info: He is a sweet, affectionate, and well-mannered companion who loves being around his people. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and does well with both adults and children. He was also cat-tested at the shelter, to the best of my recollection.   He loves getting pets and attention and is always happy to go for a walk. He is pee-pad trained and, when a person accompanies him to the fenced-in backyard, he will happily go pee and poop outside. He loves running and playing in the fenced yard, but prefers having his person with him rather than being outside alone.   He is a total sweetheart when it comes to his people and gets incredibly excited whenever his person comes home—even if they’ve only been gone for a minute! Whether you’ve been away for a few minutes or several hours, he’ll greet you like you’ve been gone forever.   He is well behaved and does not destroy things, making him a wonderful companion in the home. When it’s time to relax, he prefers to sleep tucked underneath a cozy comforter. He understands the commands “No,” “Stay,” “Sit,” and “Up.” Overall, he is a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, and simply being close to his person.
