Harlequin

Description

Meet Harlequin, born 5/15/2026 (best estimate).  Her name comes from the type of coat she has. She is mostly white with patches of black and orange. She is a cautious and curious kitten. She will watch how to do something and then attempt it herself. She loves to look out the window and sleep on your kitchen chair. She’s not aggressive, but will hold her own with her 3 siblings. Although we want to just scoop her up and cuddle her, we have to remember that she was born outside and lived outside for 2 months before she was brought indoors. She will need a little time to learn that you’re not a large predator. Earn her trust with Churu treats and playtime. She likes chasing mice toys and search the box for toys style play. She has never been around dogs or other pets. She’s only been with her 3 siblings. She has not been around young children, only older children that respect her space as she gets used to an indoor life. When scared, she will run and find a place to hide. She hasn’t hissed or swatted, or scratched or tried to bite. It would be best to adopt her with her sister Nala, an orange tabby that reminds us of the little lioness in The Lion King. They play together well and Harlequin’s calmness helps to offset Nala’s orange energy. If they are not adopted together, Harlequin requires another kitten or young cat in her new home.   She is fully vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, spayed, dewormed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $240. We are not accepting online applications for this kitty. They are located at our PetSmart Adoption center at 16257 N.
