Nala

Description

Nala, born 5/15/2026 (best estimate), was named after the little lioness from The Lion King. She has a light orange tabby coat and looks like a little lion cub. Once she trusts you she will sit in your lap and purr as you pet her. She will also come to you and let you know you she’s hungry with her little squeaky meow and big earnest eyes. She likes to play with mice toys, fishing out toys from boxes with her paws and string (we use paracord). Churu is the way to her heart. She will hiss when scared or uncomfortable with a situation but she has never swatted, scratched, or try to bite. She will run to find a safe hiding spot. When separated from her mom, she was the most vocal, crying and meowing all day and night. Without her siblings, she might’ve have been more distressed. It’s highly recommended that she is adopted with her sister Harlequin (all white with black & orange patches). They have not been without each other since the day they were born. They will play with each other and keep each other company when you’re not around. If she's not adopted with Harlequin, Nala requires another kitten or young cat in her new home.  They have not been around dogs or other pets. They have not been around babies or small children. They have only been around older children and adults who are patient and give them time and space to get used to indoor life and scary humans. She is  fully vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, spayed, dewormed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $240. We are not accepting online applications for this kitty. They are located at our PetSmart Adoption center at 16257 N. Scottsdale Rd. Please proceed there to fill out an application in person.
