Choco (Chococat), born 5/15/2026 (best estimate), is named after the black cat in Hello Kitty. He’s a chill brother to 3 sisters. He likes to play with mice toys, string and the ball tower. He is the most human shy out of his litter of 4 at the moment, but once he lets you get close enough to pet him, he purrs loudly. His sisters always pile on top of him when it’s nap time and he allows it. He also loves Churu, but his sisters tend to hog it so he sits and waits patiently for some. Once he’s in a loving home and he trusts you, he has potential to be a good lap cat. He does hiss right away to let you know he’s not comfortable with something but he has never swatted, scratched, or try to bite. He just goes finds a safe hiding spot. We recommend adopting him with his sister Cara (short for Caramel since she looks like a caramel sundae). Cara is bold and active. She helps engage Choco in play so he can forget how scared he is. Choco requires a companion animal in his new home if he's not adopted with one of his siblings. They have not been around dogs or other pets. They have not been around babies or small children. They have only been around older children and adults who are patient and give them time and space to get used to indoor life and scary humans. Choco and his sisters were born outside and lived outside for 2 months before being brought indoors. H e is fully vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, neutered, dewormed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $240. We are not accepting online applications for this kitty. They are located at our PetSmart Adoption center at 16257 N.
