POUTINE*

Description

Meet Poutine, one of three of the Potato kittens. Poutine went to fsoter with colds and attitude. They've mostly gotten over both and are looking to find their forever homes where they can continue to grow and learn how awesome humans can be. These brothers love to snuggle and nap in assorted pairs (no one seems especially bonded), then when they’re done napping they love to run around, climb, watch birds, and play/wrestle with each other and toys. They've shown a little interest (no fear) in the adult cats in their foster home and might do well as a younger sibling to another confident cat who needs a friend and playmate. While they still may shy away from an approaching human/hand, they have made great strides and will likely continue to grow more confident with the support of an understanding human family. Poutine is looking for an indoor only home where he can be safe and thrive as he ages. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
