Description
Meet Tahoe, a 10-month-old Rottweiler who is one huge baby still trying to grow into his body! Heâs a sweet, goofy young guy with so much potential and plenty of puppy left in him.Tahoe is still working on his potty training, crate training, obedience, and leash manners, so his adopter will need to be patient and willing to continue helping him learn. He can be a little mouthy, but with consistent corrections, guidance, and positive reinforcement, we think he will do great. He is young, eager to learn, and just needs someone willing to give him the structure and guidance he needs to succeed.Tahoe would likely do best in a home with a playful, compatible dog who can be his buddy and help him burn off some of his puppy energy. Weâre unsure about how he feels about cats, so if his future home has feline friends, slow introductions and close supervision will be important.Tahoe is looking for a patient family who understands that young dogs come with a little work, but also so many rewards. Heâs a big, lovable baby with a whole lot of potential, and with the right family to guide him, we know Tahoe is going to grow into an amazing companion. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $250
