Welcome Xicaru (pron Zee-kah-roo) from Bakersfield Animal Care Center. Xicaru means “beautiful” in the Zapotec language of Oaxaca…and beautiful he is. This 1 year, 51lb border collie isn’t just all looks - he’s a sweet, sweet boy according to his foster. He’s playful, dog social, and people friendly. Sorry feline people, no cats. Otherwise, he’s a no-brainer. Active, breed-savvy folks get an application in. This dude won’t be here long. Xicaru is microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccines.
