I’m a 1-year-old girl with a playful side, an independent spirit, and a heart that’s still learning how wonderful people can be. I came from a hoarding situation where I didn’t get as much human interaction as I needed when I was young. Because of that, I can be shy and unsure around people. I’m making progress, but I need someone who understands that I get to decide when I’m ready for affection.  Once I’m comfortable, you’ll see more of my playful and outgoing personality come through! I’m also a pretty independent girl, so I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing sometimes. Want to know one of my favorite things? Other cats! I especially seem to enjoy the company of the boys. Having a friendly feline buddy around might even help me feel more confident. And if you really want to impress me, bring out the Churu! That’s definitely one way to start earning my trust. I’m looking for a patient, understanding person who won’t expect too much from me too quickly. Give me time, kindness and the freedom to blossom at my own pace. I may make you work a little harder for my heart…but that will make earning it even more special.    I am  part of the Take A Chance On Me program, which means my adoption fee is lowered to help me find the right match. If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
