Description

Meet Gadgi! Gadgi is a lovable Cane Corso mix with a heart as big as he is. From the moment you meet him, you’ll see just how much he adores people — he leans his whole weight into anyone willing to give him attention, as if to say, “I’m yours!” He’s a dog who loves deeply and isn’t shy about showing it.This handsome boy has plenty of energy and is happiest when he has room to run, play, and explore. A big backyard would be a dream come true for him, and he’d thrive with a family that enjoys being active. He would do best in a home with kids 8 and older, especially one that wants a fun, goofy companion to join them on walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures.Gadgi is good with other dogs but a bit too much for cats. He’s also just as content being the center of attention with his people — especially if it means extra snuggles and leaning his giant self right into your lap.Gadgi was recently adopted and then returned due to counter‑surfing. He’s a smart, curious boy, so a family willing to work on training or one that can block off the kitchen would be the best fit for him. With consistency and structure, he’ll learn quickly. At the end of the day, Gadgi is a loyal, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be part of a family. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, keep you active, and keep you surrounded with love, Gadgi is the one. He’s ready to lean right into your heart and stay there. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
