Lice is species specific, so they can not be transmitted to you or your K9 pets. If you have other cats in your home they will need to be seperated until treatment is completed. To ensure all newly hatched lice are eliminated, their adopter will need to reapply Revolution (selamectin) at home (8/25/26) and (09/08/26) to ensure that any newly hatched lice are also killed, as the nits (eggs), which are adhered to hair shafts, are not susceptible to treatment. These follow-up treatments are an important part of making sure the lice are completely gone.
