A SWEET & ADORABLE FRIEND: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 11 lbs.  Hi there, I’m Marty! I’m a darling little fellow looking for a great home! I was adopted twice as a puppy, but my first home didn’t work out because of allergies, and my second home ended up having a lot going on, so sadly, it wasn’t the best fit either. I’m not letting any of that get me down, though, and I am hoping the third time is the charm for me! I’m having a ton of fun with the volunteers in the meantime, and I’m excited to find a wonderful family who will be a great fit and give me the loving home I deserve!              • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and after a few play dates, I liked them, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown, though my former family said I’d do best without kitty cats. / I haven’t officially met kids at Mostly Mutts, but when I was returned, the kids in my former family showed that they loved me. Best no very young kids though as I’m small and would want to be handled gently, so let’s meet if you have kids around 10 years and up! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet little guy with a whole lot of love to share! I had so much fun during my photo shoot that I was quite the jumping bean with the photographer and assistant—what fun! I can be a little scared and shy in new situations, but once I feel safe, I warm up and let my sweet personality shine. I was also a super sweet pup during my bath and loved being held and cuddled in my towel afterward. I really am just a little angel hoping to find someone who will love me right back! I can also be quite the happy, excited little guy, in fact, some of the volunteers have even called me a little firecracker! Lol. / Energy Level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program, and have mastered the 'sit', 'down', 'come', 'drop it' and 'leave it' commands. I also use proper door etiquette. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m having some accidents on the shelter schedule as I wasn’t fully potty trained in my former home, so let’s plan on a refresher in my new home so I can master my potty manners.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, soft beds, and curling up in a warm lap! I also love being held, giving lots of kisses, and snuggling with my people. I may still be a little mouthy, so please keep your things put away so I’m not tempted to find something interesting to chew on! / I was not fond of getting my nails trimmed when I came back to the shelter, so perhaps a little muzzle for that would be best until I get used to it. I’m also sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I’m current on my annual immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a fun little fellow looking for a wonderful home and family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
