Description
AUGUST 2026 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat if a kitten is too much energy for you! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. DR STEPHEN STRANGE and his sister AMERICA CHAVEZ were found at a Spay/Neuter clinic in El Monte, California. We arrived at our month hosted clinic and was told the kittens were left outside of their facility. Of course we found a foster and took them in. Meet DR STEPHEN STRANGE, a young Russian Blue kitten from El Monte, California, whose gentle spirit is slowly emerging as he learns that people can be kind, patient, and trustworthy. DR STEPHEN STRANGE was found in an alley, and we do not know about his life before he was found, but we do know that this sweet boy is taking each new experience one small step at a time. DR STEPHEN STRANGE is shy and timid, and right now, his favorite place may be somewhere safely tucked away while he watches the world around him. He is still learning to trust, so he needs a loving family who will give him plenty of patience, reassurance, and time to feel comfortable. Although DR STEPHEN STRANGE is cautious, he has already shown some wonderful signs of progress. He allows himself to be picked up and does okay with gentle pets. These may seem like small things, but for a kitten who is still building confidence, they are meaningful steps forward. With a calm environment, a predictable routine, and lots of positive reinforcement, DR STEPHEN STRANGE can continue discovering that affection and companionship can be wonderful things. And there is one particularly special source of comfort in DR STEPHEN STRANGE's life: his sister, AMERICA CHAVEZ. These two young Russian Blue kittens seem very content together, and having a familiar feline companion nearby can make the world feel a little less overwhelming for a shy kitten like DR STEPHEN STRANGE. DR STEPHEN STRANGE also knows exactly how to show his appreciation for kindness: food and treats! His love of tasty rewards can be a wonderful way to build positive associations and help him become more comfortable with his caregivers. This sweet boy does not need to rush. He needs someone willing to meet him where he is, celebrate his little victories, and patiently watch his confidence grow. Imagine the joy of seeing DR STEPHEN STRANGE go from hiding to seeking you out for affection because he has learned that he is safe.
