08/11/26 11:40Had Carly out today. She allowed full handling and would roll over for a belly rub. Had her out with another large dog and engaged in play. Very happy girl!08/10/26 11:23Carly is displaying high FAS in kennel by jumping, barking, and slamming kennel door.08/13/26 16:57What did we do on today’s adventure:Today I got to trade my shelter kennel for a little neighborhood-and-trail adventure, and of course, I had to investigate every smell along the way—very important work! I’m a social girl who does well playing with my dog friends at the shelter, but when we’re out and about, I prefer to be the audience—I’m much more comfortable watching the dog-park action than meeting other dogs up close on leash. People, though? Absolutely my favorite—give me some cuddles, belly rubs, and attention, and I’m one very happy girl!What should potential adopters know about me:• Loves her people—she may need a little time to warm up, but once she decides you're a friend, she happily soaks up cuddles, belly rubs, and affection from her favorite humans• Dog-friendly in the right setting—she enjoys playing with other dogs at the shelter and is calm around dogs on leash in that familiar environment. In new environments, she may feel more comfortable with some extra space when passing other dogs on leash. With positive, gradual exposure and practice, she may become even more comfortable with these encounters over time.• Treats and toys are a hit!
