Hi friends! My name is Toucan but my foster mom calls me “Toohey”. I am a 4 month old, female, Boxer mix (we’re guessing)! In my 3 short weeks at my foster home I have mastered many things, including riding in the car, walking on a leash, sitting on command and sleeping quietly in my kennel all night long (9 PM to 6:30 AM). I am the perfect sidekick to take with you anywhere – I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and have grown quite fond of my foster kitten sister. There are two human kiddos that live with me now and I ADORE them (3 and 8 years old). I give them all the kisses and snuggles they want but also respect their space when they need it. My favorite thing to do is play with the other dogs and kids for a little while or chew on my toys - then I enjoy sleeping under my mom’s work desk for a well deserved nap! I do not bite (not even puppy bite) ever and I am very gentle when giving affection. I am still working on being completely house trained but I am doing really well and making progress every day!
